IS HUMANITY NEARING THE PRECIPICE?

It is absolutely necessary that people with any kind of wisdom ask the question: how near is humanity near the terminal precipice? Is humanity’s future near its final destruction? There are ominous signs and global conditions that indicate clearly mankind has arrived at the dreaded precipice. Mankind faces existential threats such as a nuclear world III which, if it takes place, would be the annihilation of the human race and the world as we know it. It is therefore necessary that world leaders and powers act immediately to prevent it, otherwise it will be too late.

The world in which we live in, has, it seems, become a much smaller place. Technologically humanity has made great strides and life and communication throughout the world has improved because of it. However, the basic and fundamental issues of humanity have not been resolved satisfactorily for all. Mankind keeps on repeating the same mistakes again and again. When will humanity learn from its catastrophic errors? How many more millions of human lives must be lost in order for us to come to our senses?

There are tragically those who seek to sanitize human existence from any religious belief in order to advance their own dark and wicked agenda. These individuals who, like the tyrants and dictators of old, desire world domination. They are powerful and extremely wealthy individuals who have formed a shadow world or global government and who are convinced that the world is theirs and everyone else is there to blindly be obedient to them and to willingly be their modern day serfs. They have no respect for life and therefore they actually consider other human beings as cattle, and a much lower form of living beings to be used as they see fit.

It is said that in Roman times when a wealthy Roman citizen bought a slave at the slave market would immediately cut a lock of hair from his/her head to make clear to the slave that his/her new master owned him/her completely, that his master expected total obedience, would serve him until his/her end of his life and would even have the power to take his/her life. In other words the master of the slave had total control over him or her. It seems that the globalist elite today have a similar attitude towards people and wish to control the human race to the point of mandating them to eat insects instead of eating meat, to drive electric cars, to elect only into governmental office the people they have chosen, to read what they want them to read, to turn away from God, to abolish all morality, for their children to be indoctrinated with their ideology, to abolish family as we know it, to be forbidden to own their own house, to be deprived of having a voice or an opinion of their own, to be medicated with drugs that are chosen by the authorities, to destroy their religious, cultural, and ethnic identity,

The question however is, are these the signs of impending catastrophe and our approaching the precipice? Everyone has his/her views and understanding of world events and challenges but we still have to be alert and be aware of the things that occur around us. The earth is not our creation but God’s. Although the whole world is God’s gift to humanity, He, however, continues to be its Overseer and Preserver of all His creation. Man was given the responsibility and duty to be the world’s steward, and to take good care of it. In the Book of Genesis we read, "Then God said, I have given you every seed-bearing herb that sows seed on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. I also give every green plant as food for all the wild animals of the earth, for all the birds of heaven, and for everything that creeps on the earth in which is the breath of life" [Genesis 1:29-31]. God finished the making of heaven and earth for man’s sake and, therefore, man became its caretaker and protector.

Another world-wide dangerous sign is the total corruption of world governments. Governments that have ceased to serve the citizens and instead decided to lord over them. Governments that became autocratic, tyrannical, abusive, authoritarian, deceptive, manipulative, and controlling. Governments that seek to control every aspect of human life and to threaten those who do not adhere to their laws or rules. Governments that desire to abduct the children away from their parents and make life-altering decisions without the consent of the parents. Governments that determine what students will be taught at schools, their sexual orientation, what books to read, and to disrespect and be disobedient to their parents.

The most crucial threat to mankind’s future is the effort to abolish all faith. Christianity is the principal target of these secular, paganistic and atheistic governments. Each of these governments are determined to replace the belief in God with themselves. Under communism in the Soviet Union, Stalin mandated that the Orthodox Christians remove the holy icon of Christ hanging in their homes and replace it with his own picture. A world without God, without faith, is a world devoid of all life, light, hope, goodness, truth, joy, and salvation. A Godless world is Hell. According to the Holy Scripture Hell is Eternal punishment, of endless torment, a place of darkness, unquenchable fire, and where the devil reigns. It would be unconscionable for anyone wishing to change the beautiful world into something hideous and grotesque. There are, however, those who are spiritually dead, who are filled with hatred, wickedness, joylessness, and meanness, that defy God openly, and who prefer hell over the Kingdom of God. These kinds of people must never be given the power or authority to govern humanity and determine its destiny.
