My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Our Only True Lord, God and Savior,,

CHRIST IS IN OUR MIDST! HE WAS, IS, AND EVER SHALL BE.

GOD CREATED TWO GENDERS, MAN AND WOMAN

"Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to
Our likeness…God made man; IN THE IMAGE OF GOD HE
MADE HIM; MALE AND FEMALE HE MADE THEM. Then God
blessed them; and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply;
fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish
of the sea, over the birds of heaven, and over every living
thing that moves on the earth" (Genesis 1:26-28).

Man is NOT one in nature with the Holy Trinity. But He was made IN THE IMAGE and LIKENESS of the Holy Trinity; AND HE WAS MADE MALE AND FEMALE. Therefore, the dignity of each man and each woman is THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS. Everything God made, including man, IS "VERY GOOD" because GOD IS GOOD. Nothing made is therefore evil in itself. So then, HUMAN NATURE IS GOOD IN ITSELF. But SIN is A FREE CHOICE OF MAN’S WILL, and it is CONTRARY BOTH TO GOD’S NATURE and HUMAN NATURE.

God formed Adam’s body "out of dust from the ground." The "breath of life" IS THE GRACE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE Giver of Life (the Creed). God breathed the breath of life into man’s body, and he became a "LIVING SOUL." Therefore, Adam was a living soul because he possessed A BODY, A SOUL, and the GRACE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The Holy Fathers of the Church such as Saint Gregory of Nyssa and Saint John Damascene, emphasized that IMAGE is intrinsic to human nature (rationality, free will, and self-determination), which we are born with. the LIKENESS, however, is our dynamic POTENTIAL and TASK to actively ACQUIRE HOLINESS, VIRTUE, AND LIKENESS OF GOD TH

Regarding MALE and FEMALE, the Holy Fathers like Saint Gregory of Nyssa assert that BOTH GENDERS ARE CREATED EQUALLY IN THE IMAGE OF GOD. The RATIONAL SOUL and capacity for DIVINE COMMUNION do NOT differ between men and women. The physical and functional differences were viewed AS PART OF GOD’S PLAN FOR HUMAN LIFE , BUT BOTH SEXES HOLD EQUAL ONTOLOGICAL DIGNITY AND SHARE THE SAME ULTIMATE DESTINY OF THEOSIS (DEIFICATION) WITH GOD.

We read in the Book of Genesis (Old Testament) the following: "But for Adam THERE WAS NOT FOUND A HELPER COMPARABLE TO HIM, Thus God brought a trance upon Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and filled up the flesh in its place. Then the Lord God built the rib He took from Adam INTO A WOMAN, AND BROUGHT HER TO HIM. So Adam said, ‘This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She SHALL BE CALLED WOMAN, BECAUSE SHE WAS TAKEN OUT OF MAN. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife; and THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH" (Genesis 2:20-25).

"So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; MALE and FEMALE He created them" (Genesis 1:27). Because a solitary egocentric monad IS INCAPABLE OF AGAPE (LOVE), God created NOT A UNITY but A COUPLE WITH THE INTENTION THAT LOVE SHOULD REIGN AMONG PEOPLE. And because the love of the couple is not yet the perfection of love and being, God commanded: ‘Be fruitful and multiply" (Gen. 1:28). From TWO HUMAN BEINGS THE THIRD, THEIR CHILD, MUST BE BORN: THE PERFECT FAMILY — HUSBAND, WIFE AND CHILD, IS REFLECTION OF DIVINE AGAPE (LOVE) in three Hypostases."

From time immemorial mankind never questioned or doubted the fact that God created only two genders, male and female. However, in the 21st century we are witnessing a rebelion against God and His creation. Foolishly there are the self-proclaimed atheists that are manufacturing lies and deception and claiming that the Holy Scripture is wrong and that there are many more genders. Womanhood, for them, is obsolete, God does not exist, that mankind is in charge now and that he has the ability and power to create all kinds of genders at will. According to them there is no such thing as image and likeness in God. Even a supreme justice of the United States, a woman herself, cannot define what a woman is. Therefore, they invented TRANSGENDERISM and immediately they began to surgically alter the gender of girls and boys with the intent to create a "new" kind of being, the "transgender." This is truly a tragic experiment by deranged and wicked individuals who openly defy the one and only Creator, the Almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Eastern Orthodox Church condemns transgenderism and teaches that male and female are spiritual and biological realities rooted in God’s creation and states that gender transitions are contrary to natural law. The Orthodox Church labeled the legislation of the Greek parliament to endorse it "immoral" and a "satanic deed" that would destroy social cohesion.

Knowing that the human body is the "temple of the Holy Spirit. Saint Paul in his letter to the Corinthians writes, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are" (1 Corinthians 3"16-17). Orthodoxy views the human body as A SACRED, GOOD CREATION OF GOD–a psycho-somatic (soul and body) UNITY INSEPARABLE FROM THE SOUL. Because it is designed to be a literal dwelling place (or "temple") of the Holy Spirit, Christians are called to practice stewardship by keeping it pure and holy, rather than abusing, using it for sexual immorality, or as expendable. The Holy Apostle Paul explicitly states that our bodies are members of Christ. Because God became flesh (the Incarnation) and took on a human body, our physical existence has been elevated and given eternal worth. Our Holy Church teaches that our bodies are destined for resurrection and Eternal Life, which demands that we honor them.

To mutilate and to deform, mame, or alter radically so as to make it imperfect is an affront to God. There are now numerous children who were deceived to have this irreversible surgery and at times without the consent or knowledge of their parents. They cannot have a normal life after such an extreme surgery because they have been damaged not only physically but also psychologically and spiritually. Young girls will never be able to have children of their own, and boys have been castrated. It is evil and disgraceful what physicians, hospitals have done to hundreds and thousands of children throughout the world. What God has created cannot be altered because the human being that He created with His own hands is more than flesh and bones. They, the surgeons, and so called scientists may give the appearance of a different gender but they cannot ever succeed to change the person biologically or spiritually. The life of these children is filled with turmoil, anger, hatred and pain.

There is no historical account of such cruelty perpetrated by physicians, scientists and governments. There is no question that from a Christian perspective and belief that this action is satanic and pure evil. If there is dysphoria it must be dealt with love, good counseling and prudent advice. The Orthodox Christian theology GENDER DYSPHORIA is understood NOT as a moral failing, but as a result of the fallen world. The Church taches that biological sex and spiritual identity are inseparable and immutable. Consequently, the prescribed solution is spiritual and emotional healing, rather than physical or medical transition.

The Orthodox perspective on this condition and its approach to healing center around a few core beliefs:

1. Orthodoxy holds that God created humanity as MALE and FEMALE, and this distinction is an essential part of a person’s identity. This physical body is not viewed as a temporary vessel, but as INTEGRAL PART OF THE WHOLE PERSON. Rather than viewing dysphoria as an intentional sin, it is often understood through the lens of a "disability framework.." The psychological distress is seen as an effect of the broken, fallen nature of the world, much like other mental health or emotional struggles. The Church views itself as A SPIRITUAL HOSPITAL. The solution involves compassion, pastoral care, prayer, and sacraments to help the individual bear their cross and find peace within the reality of their biological creation. Furthermore, while acknowledging the deep suffering associated with dysphoria, Orthodox teachings officially condemn hormonal or surgical gender transition. These are seen as attempts to alter God’s fundamental design.
